Cathedrals
The church was the bishops headquarters. All churches then were catholic. If the church didn't have a bishop it wasn't a church. Cathedrals were big churches that had many designs in them. They had the stain glass windows and paintings on the ceiling.
Going to church gave the poor hope to live good lives. Everyone was welcomed to the church. The clergy was the religious group. Priest didn't have flashy things and preached during church. Bishops ran the church. Nuns cared about the people. Monks were scholars who wore robes. The pope was in charge of everything.
